Finding your size

Takes a minute, and you only measure once.

1. Measure Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles, with your thumb relaxed. No tape? Use a string or paper, mark the overlap, then measure it with a ruler. Measure your dominant or larger hand. Each set includes both left and right.

2. Read Keep it snug, not tight, and note the measurement.

3. Match

  • Small: 7–7.5" (18–19 cm)
  • Medium: 7.5–8.5" (19–21.5 cm)
  • Large: 8.5–9" (21.5–23 cm)

Between sizes? Choose smaller for a better fit. The fabric will stretch slightly over time.

The Splints, Gloves, and Creams You've Tried Weren't Made for Knitters

Nothing you've tried was designed for knitters. Compression gloves, a thumb splint from your doctor, a CBD rub, and a brace from Amazon that fell apart in a week.

Cortisone shots worked for six weeks, then stopped.

The Real Problem Is One Small Joint

It's the CMC joint, at the base of your thumb. Years of gripping needles have worn it loose. Every stitch shifts it slightly. One shift is nothing. A thousand an hour adds up. As long as it keeps moving, the pain won't stop.

That's why it hurts after 20 minutes and fades when you put the needles down. It's not age. It's a joint that won't stay still.

Most Solutions Mask the Pain

Rigid thumb splints stop the sliding by locking the thumb completely in place. The pain stops, but so does any chance of knitting.

Wrist braces lock the whole wrist down. Fine at night while you sleep, but sit down to knit, and you can't move your wrist or your thumb. You can't grip a needle. You can't hold a coffee.

Cortisone shots, NSAIDs, and kinesiology tape all calm the inflammation around the joint. None of them stops the joint from sliding.

So the moment you knit again, the cycle restarts. The first shot might buy a few months, the second buys less, and the third usually leads to surgery.

The First Brace Made for the Way a Knitter's Thumb Moves

Slip on the Knitter's Hand Stabilizer, and it supports that joint at the base of your thumb, so it stops shifting around every time you work a stitch.

The soft, contoured pad holds your thumb steady while you knit, so you can still grip your needles the way you always have, and get a good while longer before the deep ache creeps in.

Knit without the pain: without cortisone, surgery, or giving up what you love

Finally, knitting support done right.

Not all kitting gloves are made equal.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We've Got You Covered

How Do I Wear It?

Slide it on like a fingerless glove, with the structured section sitting firmly at the base of your thumb near the wrist. Your fingers stay free to knit, crochet, or grip normally. Start with 15 to 30 minutes for your first few uses, then wear it as long as it feels comfortable.

How Do I Clean It?

Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Lay flat to dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight, tumble dryers, and bleach.

What Is It Made Of?

Made from polyester, nylon, spandex, and a foam insert. It is latex free and contains no wool, lanolin, or animal derived fibers, making it suitable for those with alpha gal allergy.

Will It Help My Thumb Pain?

Designed to support the thumb base and wrist area, where strain is common. It helps stabilize movement and reduce discomfort during activity, including conditions like arthritis, De Quervain’s, and trigger thumb.

This is not a medical device or cure. If you have a complex condition, consult a specialist.

Do I Get Both Hands?

Yes. Every order includes a left and a right. We do not sell single sides or matching pairs of the same hand.
